Sheerness officers to the Board. As far as they can see the bottom of the Amethyst is good. When she was refitted, all defective copper was replaced but it is now four years since she was docked and was last coppered five years ago. She is now almost fully loaded for another overseas voyage, but when she returns, she should be docked the following winter.
