Description

Woolwich Officers to the Board. We are doubtful that the wharf wall will be sufficient to carry the proposed building, as the piles were not designed for any purpose but the existing wharf. The foundation for the other part of the building may, they feel, be made adequate by driving a sufficient number of piles.
