Description

William Marsden. Sir James Saumarez asks for dispensation for the log book and journal of the late John Nicolls, late Master of the Caesar, to enable him to receive his pay for her. Naval procedure is for the persons making the claim to take an oath on the loss of his papers and if Mr. Nicolls produces such an affidavit they see no difficulty in his application.
