Note: to Mr. Marsden about Lieutenant G I Mitchell, who was appointed to this vessel (unnamed), then at Barnstaple, on 9th February, to be employed under Captain Tatham at Greenock. The owners were directed to send her to Plymouth to be surveyed but she did not arrive until May and perhaps Mitchell is now in her.
