William Marsden. Messrs. Palmer, Gambier and Hartwell write about the Admiralty order to offer a reward of 20s. for each Seaman recruit taken on by a gang in the impress service. This was not on the printed circular to Captains on the impress service and fear it will be interpreted to apply to all recruits, whether impressed or otherwise.
