Description

William Marsden. The agents to James Thorn ask for him to be paid for the time he acted as Boatswain of the Arrogant. He was entered on 12th September 1800 by warrant, which does not mention by whose order, as acting Boatswain and discharged dead on 25th June 1803 at Bombay. As there was a regular vacancy, we recommend he should be paid as Boatswain from September 1800 to June 1803 on Admiralty order.
