Description

William Marsden. James Ash asks to be paid for the time he acted as Gunner of the Creole. He was entered on 5th November 1803 as acting Gunner and was discharged by order of Sir John Duckworth on 1st January 1804. As there was a regular vacancy during this period, the payment should be made as Gunner.
