Description

Petition from John Bloye, Bricklayer at Portsmouth, informs us that after 9 years service, he was discharged in the reduction of November 1802. His injuries left him infirm and incapable of feeding his family. He states there was a similar case at Plymouth, when a Smith named Fox, received superannuation even though he had less service than Bloye.
