Description

William Marsden. The Chatham Officers were ordered to repair the Regulus and say it will be necessary to remove the additional firehearth and various berths, fitted out for Army Officers. They ask whether, as the ship is rigged as a 28-gun ship, it should remain so, and whether she should have a crew appropriate to her armaments.
