William Marsden. The defects of the Pegasus were made good at Sheerness in August - September 1803, for her to be employed as a stationary and temporary service. The Sheerness Officers say that after repair, she has sailed to Spithead and Falmouth and is now in Sheerness. Captain Pengelley has now been ordered to complete stores and provisions for 4 months. The Sheerness Officers fear that the ship is about to sail and they think she is not fit to do so.
