Description

William Marsden. In August 1802 Mr. Brunel's plans for the block mill at Portsmouth with General Bentham's report on them, were sent to us. We were instructed to put the plans into effect. Mr. Brunel has since been building the machinery. He writes that various modifications and additions have been made with the approval of General Bentham and he now submits bills for the additional costs.
