Description

William Marsden. A storm at Plymouth, on 19th January, drove the Fearless gun brig from the anchoring ground at Cawsands Bay to a position high up on the rocks at Mount Edgcombe. A report to Commissioner Fanshawe says it is impracticable to get her off and recommends she is stripped of moveable goods and sold and ask for directions.
