Evan Nepean. Rear Admiral Montague's letter informs that there is a shortage of slops at Jamaica. Sir Charles Saxton at Portsmouth has been ordered to send shirts, frocks, trousers, shoes, hammocks and beds on board the squadron now at St Helens under Rear Admiral Campbell; and that Commissioner Fanshawe at Plymouth has also been ordered to supply quantities of slops to any vessel bound for Jamaica. Asks that orders are sent to the ships involved to receive the slops.
