Deptford Officers have surveyed the Serapis and found that extensive repairs costing £11,000 will be needed to put her into a fit state to be a man of war but only £9000 to fit her out as a storeship. Considers that only £6000 or £7000 will be needed for the latter purpose and ask for directions.
