Description

Philip Stephens. The widow of the late Captain Burr of the Milford, who was sent on shore to the Halifax Hospital after falling sick, has sent a letter asking for his wages for the ship, to be paid to the day of his death. How the Captain is borne on the books. As he was discharged after 6 weeks in sick quarters and an acting Captain borne as proper Captain of the ship from that date, opine from then he should be put on the half pay list.
