Philip Stephens. Captain Gaborian of the Amphitrite has asked to have two more 4-pounder guns put on the quarter deck, to assist in action or in chase. Opine this should not be complied with as the 22 9-pounders proposed on the upper deck and the 2 3-pounders on the quarter deck are as many and of as great a weight as ought to be put on board her.
