Philip Stephens. Are directed to pay John Read the usual allowance for 30 days during which he appears by the 3 certificates enclosed to have officiated as Deputy Judge Advocate at 3 Courts Martial held on board HM's ships in Cape Fear and Rhode Island harbours. He has already been paid for acting as Deputy Judge Advocate at other Courts Martial and ask whether he is to be paid for the full number of days, notwithstanding they interfere with the time for which he has already been paid.
