Description

Philip Stephens. Vice Admiral Gayton, has sent a copy report on the survey of the Florida surveying sloop, that was condemned at Pensacola. In its place he has purchased a schooner to carry on that service. The attendant shallop was lost also and the Admiral has purchased another one to go with the schooner. Their purchase sums were ordered to be paid by Mr. Holman, the Naval Officer at Jamaica, and ask whether we should accept and pay them.
