Philip Stephens. Several storeships are to be loaded at Deptford and Woolwich but there are other works there and Labourers are unobtainable at this season, because of the harvest. There are 100 able men in Greenwich hospital, who may be spared from there and ask whether 50 of them may be lent to us, 30 for Deptford and 20 for Woolwich, to be allowed 9d. per day, as were the yachtsmen when employed in assisting to rig or to carry ships from either of these Ordinaries. Propose they are victualled and lodged on board the hulk and chequed of their provisions in the Hospital, while so employed and to take their beds with them.
