Description

Philip Stephens. The Comptroller and Commissioner Brett went to Portsmouth to review the Ropehouse fire and, with Commissioner Gambier, took depositions to discover the reason fir it. Propose to reinstate the Ropehouse on the same spot, as the foundation is not damaged and the walls may be made good and are sending an estimate. Ask for directions.
