- Folio 738. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to J and W Rees Mogg [John Rees Mogg and William Rees Mogg], Clerks to the Guardians of the Clutton Poor Law Union, acknowledging receipt of their letter of 2 November 1853 and stating that if the guardians acting under the 11& 12 Vic c 123 and in pursuance of the directions and regulations of the General Board of Health think it necessary to appoint an inspector of nuisances, the charge must be an amount on the Common Fund of the union. The Board referred the guardians to Sect 8 of the 12& 13 Vic c 111, indicating that such expenses may be charged by them to that parish. Paper Number: 42960/1853. Poor Law Union Number 374. Counties: Somerset.
