Folios 728-730. Letter from J and W Rees Mogg [John Rees Mogg and William Rees Mogg], Clerks to the Guardians of the Clutton Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Board enclosing the completed return, included with their letter dated 31 October 1853, concerning the formation of vaccination districts. Enclosed 'Vaccination Extension Act' form from John Rees Mogg and William Rees Mogg, Clerks to the Guardians of the Clutton Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Board dated 3 November 1853, listing the names or districts of the public vaccinators and the numbers and ages of people vaccinated for the year ended 29 September 1853. Also noted are the number of births in the union during the year and any observations. Enclosed form entitled 'Vaccination' dated 3 November 1853, listing the names of the vaccination district and parishes, place of the vaccination station, times, appointed vaccinator, their residence and proposed fees. Midsomer Norton district vaccinator will be Robert Hockin Boodle at houses of Mary Chapman, Ston Easton, Edward Talbot, Farrington Gurney, parochial schoolroom, Paulton, Boodle's surgery, Chilcompton, houses of Hester Lacey, Midsomer Norton and Samuel Latchem, Coombend, Radstock. Clutton district vaccinator will be Findlater Crang at his surgery, Hallatrow, High Littleton, house of John Cuss, Clutton, schoolroom, Chelwood, houses of Richard Harvey, Farmborough, Sarah Budge, Timsbury and Thomas Willcox, Camerton. Cameley and workhouse district vaccinator will be James Dudden Perrin at his surgery, Temple Cloud, Cameley, houses of Jesse Redwood, Widcombe, Charles Dudden, Hinton Blewitt and Union workhouse, Clutton. Chew Magna district vaccinator will be Charles Howell Collin at his surgery, Chew Magna, house of William Baker, Norton Malreward, schoolroom, Saint Thomas in Pensford, schoolrooms at Stanton Drew, Chewstoke, Bishop Sutton, Chew Magna and Stowey. Harptree district vaccinator will be John Hawkes Jackman at his surgery, Compton Martin, house of Clement York, Litton, Mr Russ, West Harptree, Richard Bath, Ubley and Ann Ogbourne, Nempnett.
