Folios 239-241. Letter from William Powell, Clerk to the Guardians of the Newport Pagnell Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Commission, enclosing copies of a Notice of meeting [Form A], Resolution entered in Vestry Book [Form B] and the Certificate of Minister Churchwardens and Overseers relating to the sale of property at Walton. The parish officers request an early order for the sale since part of the property is arable land which should not be cropped before the sale. Enclosed is Sale of Parish Property Form 4, notice of a meeting to consent to the sale of workhouses, etc. The property comprises four cottages and a close of pasture land called Town Close, a parcel of pasture land of about three roods lying in a meadow called Great March Meadow or Bow Brickhill Meadow, two closes of arable land containing about seven acres and one rood called Trumpiton together with commons belonging to the parish of Walton. Sale of Parish Property Form 5 'Resolution entered in Vestry Book' concerning the sale of property at Walton, as above. Sale of Parish Property Form 6 'Certificate of Minister, Churchwardens and Overseers, of the Forms of Act having been complied with', concerning the sale of property at Walton. Paper Number: 2228/A/1840.
