Folio 16: Joseph Elliot, Seaman, aged 37; disease or hurt, sprained left knee. Taken ill, 17 May 1813. Discharged to Plymouth Hospital 20 July 1813, by order of surveying officers. Granted smart ticket and invalided from hospital in November. Surveyed on ship because since no disease was evident it was thought he may have been feigning illness, but for his previous good character he would not have been believed.

Folio 16: Charles Headly, Quarter Master, aged 51; disease or hurt, sprained right foot and slightly sprained left foot. Taken ill, 25 May 1813. Discharged to Plymouth Hospital, 14 July 1813. Fell from the main yard to deck, spraining both feet and bruising himself badly. Granted a smart ticket but rejoined the ship.

Folio 17: John Moran, Seaman, aged 32; disease or hurt, pneumonia and habitual asthma. Taken ill, 26 May 1813. Discharged to hospital by Duncan 22 June 1813. Weather very variable, with rain and cold, and due to large sick list hospital too full for comfort, so sent to hospital and recommended for survey.

Folio 17: Robert Do[ault], Private Marine, aged 35; disease or hurt, catarrhal symptoms and a very hard cough with erratic pains in the heart. Taken ill, 27 May 1813. Died 20 June 1813. Description of chest cavity from dissection, large discharging abscess found and signs of a long standing disease.

Folio 18: Jean Messina [John Massina?], Seaman, aged 40; disease or hurt, pneumonia. Taken ill, 28 May 1813. Discharged to Plymouth Hospital, 5 June 1813.

Folio 18: John Dodd, Private Marine; disease or hurt, pneumonia. Taken ill, 30 May 1813. Discharged to Plymouth Hospital, 5 June 1813. Previous two cases sent to hospital because of large sick list and fear of relapse if kept on board while in harbour.

Folio 18: Laugh[lan?] Donallon; disease or hurt, rheumatism. Taken ill, 1 June 1813. Discharged to duty 14 June 1813.

Folio 18: Hugh Finnegan; disease or hurt, catarrh. Taken ill, 2 June 1813. Discharged to duty 12 June 1813.

Folio 18: William Williams, Boy, aged 14; disease or hurt, opthalmia. Taken ill, 2 June. 1813 Discharged to Plymouth Hospital, 14 June 1813. ‘The boy is of a very scrophulous habit', watched very carefully to check illness genuine, seen 4 months later in hospital just as bad.
