Folio 7: case no 24, Alexander Fordyce, aged 41, 1st Lieutenant; sick or hurt, hemorrhois [afterwards prolapsus recti]– first suffered from piles, while 1st Lieutenant of the garrison in South America in 1832 under circumstances of great fatigue and exposure; they became habitual and much worse since his arrival in West Indies; put on sick list 6 March 1841, he was surveyed at Port Royal and awaited a passage until the arrival in Halifax in April when he was invalided.

Folio 9: case no 38, Edward Smith, aged 15, Boy; sick or hurt, arthropyosis (hip joint) – Bermudian 'negro', generally healthy was attacked with inflammation in the right hip with severe pain and much increased on pressure and motion; put on sick list 29 March 1841, sent 21 April 1841 to Military Hospital, he was reported by letter that he died there on the 10 of June. Folio 9: case no 41, William Pettman, aged 26, Painter; sick or hurt, ophthalmia – simple conjunctiva; put on sick list 6 April 1841, discharged 18 April 1841 to duty. Folio 9: case no 42, Edward Barney, aged 39, Gunner’s Crew; sick or hurt, rheumatismus of neck and shoulder; put on sick list 7 April 1841, discharged 11 April 1841 to duty. Folio 9: case no 43, George Dunn, aged 40, Captain After Guard; sick or hurt, dyspepsia – gastro enteritis with severe headache; put on sick list 12 April 1841, discharged 10 May 1841 to duty. Folio 9: case no 44, Cornelius Callaghan, aged 25, Able Seaman; sick or hurt, vulnus of right knee causing extension; put on sick list 16 April 1841, discharged 12 May 1841 to duty. Folio 10: case no 49, John Sherriff, aged 27, Boatswain’s Mate; taken ill at Halifax; sick or hurt, pneumonia; put on sick list 18 April 1841, sent 21 April 1841 to Military Hospital at Halifax, was invalided from the Flag Ship after having duty there for sometime. Folio 10: case no 50, William Cox, aged 22, Ordinary Seaman; sick or hurt, catarrh; put on sick list 19 April 1841, discharged 22 April 1841 to duty. Folio 10: case no 51, James Page, aged 22, Able Seaman; sick or hurt, syphilis; put on sick list 20 April 1841, discharged 4 May 1841 to duty. Folio 10: case no 52, Frederick A.
