- Folios 171-172. Letter from R M Hodge [Richard Michell Hodge], Clerk to the Guardians of the Truro Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Commission, in which he forwards, for their approval, a copy of the resolutions passed at a public vestry in Perranzabuloe. The guardians are satisfied with the competence of the valuers and the reasonableness of the payment. Copy of two resolutions, passed at a public vestry in Perranzabuloe on 22 April 1841, signed by William Hodge, Chairman, Thomas Blewett, William Borlase, Michael Stephens, David Mitchell and William Clyma. 1. Proposed by Richard Cowlin, that there should be a new valuation of properties in the parish for the poor rate. 2. Proposed by Paul Clark, that Richard Cowlin, Francis Veall and William Stephen should be appointed as Valuers and be paid £9. Annotated: has an order for valuation of Perranzabuloe been issued? Ask regarding the need for a new valuation and make the usual enquiry about the survey and a map. Paper Number: 6416/A/1841. Poor Law Union Number 57. Counties: Cornwall.
