- Folios 17-18. Letter from Charles Hart, Clerk to the Liverpool Select Vestry, to the Poor Law Board. He encloses for approval the appointment form for Susan Bentley [Susanna Bentley] age 28, from [Widnes Dock] as Assistant Schoolmistress. She will live and work at the industrial schools. The salary to be £20 per annum. Annotated: the appointment is approved for a six-month trial. Paper Number: 1900/1852.
