Folio 14. Letter from Charles Hart, Clerk to the Liverpool Select Vestry, to the Poor Law Board, giving details of appointments made by the vestry. Sarah Vance and Mary Marlow have been appointed as Assistant Nurses to replace Margaret Pierce (resigned) and Mary Tibbett (dismissed). Their wages will be £8 8 per annum. Susan Bentley, [Susanna Bentley], is appointed as Assistant Schoolmistress in place of Miss Porter (resigned) at a salary of £20 per annum. All these officers are to have board, washing and lodging in the establishment Annotated: form to be sent to Liverpool to request more details of the appointment of the assistant schoolmistress. Paper Number: 962/1852.
