Folios 9-12. Letter from [Edward Aris], Collector of Poor Rates at the Brownlow Hill Office, Liverpool, to the Poor Law Board. He is about to renew his guarantee to the select vestry and wishes to combine this with life insurance premiums. He encloses a prospectus offering such a plan, and asks if the Board would approve of this. Prospectus issued by the United Guarantee and Life Assurance Company. It offers a plan which combines a fidelity bond and life assurance cover. Annotated: reply to say that the company's guarantees cannot be accepted. Paper Number: 700/1852.
