Description

List of 6 prisoners on board hulk Hardy recommended for mercy:

  • James Rous convicted at Woodbridge [Suffolk] on 8 March 1826 for stealing geese.
  • William Crosby convicted at Bury St. Edmunds [Suffolk] on 13 July 1826 for stealing in a dwelling house.
  • Richard Drew convicted at Newgate on 11 September 1826 for fraud.
  • [Abraham Millish convicted at Cambridge on 16 October 1826 for stealing money.]
  • [William Brown 1st convicted at Newgate on 7 December 1826 for felony.]
  • [William Brown 2nd convicted at Newgate on 7 December 1826 for stealing from a person.]

All sentenced to 7 years' transportation. KP 43
