- Folio 345. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to James Robinson Tomlin, Clerk to the Guardians of the Reeth Poor Law Union, acknowledging his letter of 21 September 1858. The Board considers that a proper task of work [for vagrants] should be prescribed, in accordance with 5& 6 Vic c 57 s 5. Accordingly a form is enclosed [not included] on which the guardians are required to insert a copy of any resolution they pass in this respect. The form should then be returned for approval. Paper Number: 35973/A/1858. Poor Law Union Number 555. Counties: Yorkshire North Riding.
