Folio 325. Printed schedule certified by James Robinson Tomlin, Clerk to the Guardians of the Reeth Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Board, on the election of guardians of the poor for 1858. Schedule contains proposed and elected poor law guardians for the union: the list is as follows - Joseph Peacock, gentleman, of Seal Houses, for Arkendale [Arkengarthdale]. Thomas Birkbeck, Farmer, of Bouldershaw, for Arkendale. John Harker, no nomination, stands over for Ellerton Abbey. James White, Farmer, of Whita, for Grinton. John Bainbridge, Farmer, of Marrick Abbey, for Marrick. James Clarkson, Farmer, of Kearton, for Melbecks. Ralph Spensley, no nomination, stands over, for Melbecks. Thomas Fawcett, yeoman, of Aigill, for Muker. Henry Cherry, Farmer, of Kisdon, for Muker. Adam Barker, Farmer, of Healaugh, for Reeth. Ralph Milner, Corn Factor, of Reeth, for Reeth.
