1 collective petition (27 inhabitants of Dudley, Worcestershire) on behalf of Thomas Pearsall convicted at the Worcestershire Quarter Sessions in January 1835 for embezzlement against William Fellowes the younger, his employer. Grounds for clemency: first offence, penitent, good conduct while in prison as stated on petition by keeper and chaplain, wife and child left destitute. Initial sentence: 14 years transportation. Gaoler's report: character not known, respectable connections, married 1 child. Annotated: nil. AV 8
