1 individual petition (Nathaniel Prettejohn, foreman and superintendent in Woolmer Forest, Hampshire) and 2 accompanying letters on behalf of Henry Fullick [Henry Fulleck] the Elder, labourer convicted at the Hampshire Quarter Sessionsat Winchester in April 1834 for stealing 3 bushels of potatoes belonging to Charles Collins at Headley. Gaoler's report: character bad. Grounds for clemency: wife and 5 children to support, industrious worker and honest citizen, unreliable evidence of sample of stolen potatoes, knew others convicted of the crime which counted against him. Initial sentence: 7 years transportation. Annotated: nil. AT 22
