- Folios 268-270. Letter from W E Goodacre, Clerk to the Guardians of the Mansfield Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Board. In reply to a letter of 23 May, number Paper Number: 19603/1855. Informing that the enclosed form received cannot be completed at present, as the purpose of the letter of 18 May sent was to obtain sanction of the appointment of such an officer either by letter or an order, prior to advertising for candidates for the office. Stating, that the form will be completed and returned when the appointment has been made. Blank copy of the Appointment of Collector form. Annotated: send the form of application for an order. 21425/1855. 19603/1855. Poor Law Union Number 337. Counties: Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
