Folio 210. Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to The Reverend George Cornish, Vicar of Kenwyn, stating that, as the board of guardians for Truro Union do not intend to use the Kenwyn workhouse for union purposes, the only advice they can give is that if the premises should be sold or let the Commission would not object to the expenditure of the repairs being liquidated from the money realised from the sale or rent. William Golden Lumley, Assistant Secretary, Poor Law Commission Paper Number: 1185/A/1844. Poor Law Union Number 57. Counties: Cornwall.
