Description

Licence number 9468: John Carter.

Caption order and prison record from when he was convicted of embezzlement at the Central Criminal Court at London, Middlesex 05 April 1858.

Then aged 27 years and by trade a draper.

Sentence: 4 years penal servitude.

Licence granted 29 June 1861, for early release from Dartmoor prison.
