Letter from R Barker [Richard Barker] and James L Barker, Clerks to the Guardians of the Tynemouth Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Commission, concerning the appointment of John Falcus as [Releiving Officer] Assistant Overseer of Longbenton parish at his present salary of £90 a year as Relieving Officer for Longbenton. An extract from the minutes of the Tynemouth Poor Law Union, on 21 June 1838, to this effect is enclosed. Annotated: refer to Sir John Walsham for his opinion and the appointment was approved. Paper number: 5200/B/1838. Poor Law Union Number 333. Counties: Northumberland.
