Letter from R Barker [Richard Barker] and James L Barker, Clerks to the Guardians of the Tynemouth Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Commission, concerning the appointment of John Falcus as permanent Overseer for the parishes of Wallsend and Longbenton. An extract from the minutes of the Tynemouth Poor Law Union, on 29 March 1838, to this effect is enclosed. Annotated: Sir John Walsham [Assistant Poor Law Commissioner], is to consider the appointment and the order is issued. Paper number: 3097/B/1838. Poor Law Union Number 333. Counties: Northumberland.
