- Folios 200-203. A letter from R Barker [Richard Barker] and James L Barker, Clerks to the Guardians of the Tynemouth Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Commission, concerning an application to be allowed to spend up to £15 in making a new assessment to the poor of North Shields township, Tynemouth Poor Law Union, by the overseers. The assessment is to be made according to the new Parochial Assessment Act. Annotated: approves the request and wants more details of the expenses. [Folios 200-2001 are the year guards etc.] [Paper number: 973/B/1838]. Poor Law Union Number 333. Counties: Northumberland.
