Folio 102. Draft letter from Thomas Stevens to Joseph Heginbottom, Churchwarden at Burslem, suggesting an answer to Paper number: 2660/C/1838 that the equal number of elected representatives is now fixed by law and alterable only by the agreement of the majority of ratepayers within the union. Annotated in a different hand that if the parishioners of Burslem want a resident magistrate they can take the appropriate steps to obtain one. Paper number: 2660/C/1838. Poor Law Union Number 415.
