Letter from Joseph Heginbottom, Churchwarden, Burslem, to the Poor Law Commission, noting an apparent oversight in the number of guardians allocated to each parish in that though there is equal representation, Wolstanton having a resident magistrate ex officio in addition, the larger parish has the smaller number of representatives. Annotated: Mr Stevens to reply. Paper number: 2660/C/1838. Poor Law Union Number 415. Counties: Staffordshire.
