Caption order and prison record from when he was convicted of larceny from the person, stealing a broach and monies, after previous convictions at the Quarter Sessions at Birmingham, Warwickshire on 17 March 1852.
Then aged 12 years and by trade a blacksmith.
Sentence: 7 years tranportation.
Licence granted 31 October 1856, for early release from Parkhurst prison.
