Description

Licence number 6524: James Prowse Brooks.

Caption order and prison record from when he was convicted of Horse stealing at the Quarter Sessions at Exeter, Devon on 07 September 1852.

Then aged 18 years and by trade a Servant.

Sentence: 10 years tranportation.

Licence granted 30 September 1856, for early release from Dartmoor prison.
