Folios 1-2: copy of the daily sick list, [names and details follow] - continued:
Folios 3-4: case no 1, William Johnston, aged 36, convict; taken ill at sea; sick or hurt, dyspepsia; put on sick list 20 May 1836, discharged 31 July 1836.
Folios 5-6: case no 2, John Honan, aged 27, convict; taken ill at sea; sick or hurt, icterus; put on sick list 2 June 1836, discharged 28 June 1836.
Folios 6-7: case no 3, John Lawler, aged 33, convict; taken ill at sea; sick or hurt, phthisis incipient; put on sick list 10 June 1836, discharged 12 August 1836.
Folios 8-9: case no 4, John Hassen, aged 44, convict; taken ill at sea; sick or hurt, phthisis; put on sick list 27 June 1836, died 31 July 1836 at 8 am.
Folio 9: numerical abstract of cases mentioned in the journal, nosologically arranged.
Folios 10-11: Surgeon's general remarks. The number of convicts embarked were 224 from Dublin and the Cove of Cork. When they came on board, their general health was apparently good, although they appeared in a low state from deficient nourishment, even though the weather was fine they still suffered much from seasickness which induced great debility and they were unable to use their cocoa this is because all of the prisoners were Irish and unaccustomed to it [cocoa].
