Caption order and prison record from when he was convicted of Theft of a gold watch aggrivated by habit and repute and previous conviction at the Circuit Court of Justiciary at Glasgow, Scotland 5 May 1853.
Then aged 18 and by trade none.
Sentence: 7 years Transportation.
Licence granted 30 August 1856, for early release from Warrior hulk.
