Description

Viscount Townsend to earl of Shelburne. Forwarding printed proclamation for the apprehension of Lieutenant Alexander Gordon and Surgeon John Meade Traverse of the 49th Regiment, and Ensign Clotworthy Thompson of the 69th Regiment, stationed at Cork, for the murder of Patrick Connor, and requesting that James Walkenshaw succeed Thompson as ensign. Dated at Dublin Castle
