Viscount Townsend to earl of Shelburne. General discontent at the non appointment of a chancellor had led to a proposal to vote only a short Money Bill (from three months to three months) - that he had called a meeting of HM's principal servants to decide what should be done - majority decided to wait until the following Tuesday morning to consider whether the motion should be resisted. Dated at Dublin Castle
