Description

Folios 6-7: case no 1, Ann Richardson, aged 16, single; sick or hurt, scrofula, under the chin, on the right side of the neck just under the ear and at the upper part of the sternum; put on sick list 25 November 1839, discharged 7 December 1839 cured.

Folio 7: case no 2, Margaret Owen, aged 25, single; sick or hurt, scrofula, she was from Manchester and received on board on 22nd Nov. affected with scrophulous sore on the left side of the neck; put on sick list 25 November 1839, discharged 1 December 1839 cured.

Folios 7-8: case no 3, Amelia Reeder, aged 19, single; sick or hurt, chronic syphilitic taint of the system; put on sick list 25 November 1839, discharged 1 December 1839 cured.

Folio 8: case no 4, Bridget Madden, aged 22, single; sick or hurt, ulcers, of the middle and external part of the left leg produced by the wounds of nails in a boot from a click and by shackles applied to her legs; put on sick list 25 November 1839, discharged 15 December 1839 cured.
