Description

William Wesley Pole. By Order, buildings pointed out by Brigadier General Bentham, for the accommodation of the Marine Guard at Deptford and Woolwich are to be completed. As the Marines are about to leave the barracks attached to the wall at Woolwich Yard, Commissioner Cunningham has proposed stopping up the doors and windows on the town side, and for the barracks to be added to the storehouse.
